My bad luck, it certainly never seems to get old. It’s a good thing I’m getting used to it, which makes it easier to go by. But still occasionally very annoying. You see, this morning I went out to pick up some printer paper because I need to print out a bunch of e-books, and they also had some Xerox Phaser 8400 printing ink for sale. Just what I needed! So I bought myself a good half dozen cartridges, reasoning it would be a good investment. Well, it probably would… if only my printer hadn’t just died on me.

I somehow assumed it was working just fine – it used to be! So when I get back home and start printing the first few documents, everything runs smoothly until suddenly it gets stuck half-way through printing a page. I tried replacing the cartridge, but it was of no avail. Still dead. So, I’m the proud owner of five brand new ink cartridges, but I don’t have a printer where I can actually use them. I doubt it’ll be worth it trying to repair this old thing, I’ll just try to either sell the ink on ebay or otherwise find a used xerox printer at cheap prices. Oh well, I’m just annoyed because I really wanted to print out those ebooks!
