• What if you could remove scars naturally, using simple household items?

I’m very happy to be alive in this day and age! Also, I’m a very big fan of science and technology, but all the while I also KNOW there’s much to be learned from traditional wisdom. As much as I respect and resort to the pharmaceutical industry when necessary, I always try to find natural alternatives… and that’s a good thing, otherwise I might never have learned about an amazing scar tissue treatment that allowed me to solve a problem that it seemed no medicine could do anything about.

Ever since I was a teenager, I had terrible acne problems – and by no means am I overstating. Some teenagers get all streesed out when they spot a pimple in their cheek… but what I used to face everyday when I stood in front of the mirror was not unlike the crater-ridden face of the moon. As result of my rampant acne, it didn’t take long before my face was permanently scarred; so when I finally grew older and got over acne, I found myself dealing with something worse: acne scars! Just my luck, eh?

Most young adults dream about getting independent and doing their own thing. Myself, all I dreamed about was finding a way to restore a face that was permanently mauled by my own adolescent hormones. I tried every kind of scar removal products, facial scar removal techniques… and it was all of no avail. All the while, I always kept faith that I would eventually find an effective scar tissue treatment, and my intuition somehow used to tell me I would find a natural remedy. Well, it turns out I wasn’t wrong!

  • Technology is a wonderful thing, but nothing beats good old loving!

I’m a big fan of technology, but I’m even a bigger fan of life. And when it comes to being alive, romantic feelings are a gateway to that which is arguably one of the most interesting experiences available to human beings: Love. I’m not going to say that love is all you need, but I’m definitely saying no life can possibly be complete without love… especially romantic love.

That’s why I’m doing something different in this post; rather than tell you about a new gadget or technical trend, I’m telling you to go out and send some romantic ecards to people that you love! I’m telling you to pick up a pen and paper and write some actual love letters (check here for inspiration). I’m telling you go ahead and take the best life has to offer!

When you’re in love with someone, it’s very important to express your feelings: don’t forget that your partner can’t really read your mind – at least not in every occasion. If you want to express your affection, why not look up some romantic gift ideas and surprise that person who takes a special place in your heart? Just use your imagination, and make sure you’re not dedicating all your life to dealing with machines… otherwise you may find yourself lonely and hopelessly sad, sooner than you might imagine.

  • Heads up! It's the XXI century already, in case you hadn't noticed!

It’s a whole new world out here in the XXI century, and from a business as well as a personal standpoint, we are left with two choice: adapt and evolve OR be left behind and collapse. You may think I’m exaggerating, but in all truth I keep coming cross clear-cut examples of how much anyone can benefit from keeping up to date with the latest technological developments and novelties.

A good example that comes to mind is business voice & data; there are nowadays some highly competitive services which oftentimes go by unnoticed; there are advanced business VoIP that will allow any company to make a drastic cut in their communication expenses. Yet, there are many companies that still use the tried and true old methods which sometimes cost several times as much. That’s just plain old stupidity, if you ask me!

I’m not running a business – at least not just yet – but if I ever find myself in such a position, one of the first and most important things I’ll do is going to be researching a good and modern business internet service; we’re living the heyday of the information age, and as such our lines of communications are so important for our businesses as our blood vessels are to our body. Feel free to keep living in the XX century if you feel like doing so, but don’t tell me I haven’t tried to warn you about the possible implications of such behavior!

  • I did find that book – no closer than all across the globe!

You know all the people who complain about globalization, about how we’re losing our identity from the world getting smaller? Well… in my humble opinion, those people are backwards – they’re much too old fashioned and they really don’t realize how lucky we are for being able to participate in this day and age of human development.

Okay, so this kind of reasoning probably doesn’t strike you a much of a surprise, from someone who’s running a blog focused on technology. But maybe if I provide a practical example, the casual reader will understand more easily what I’m talking about. You see, early this week I lost a book from the local library – so I was left with two choices: replace the book on my own or pay an outrageous fine to have them look up the book for me.

Obviously I decided to look it up on my own. However, it as easier said than done; it turned out surprisingly hard to locate a copy of that book, even though it was by no means an antique, or a rare edition. I did find it though: no closer than an Australian book store! So that’s essentially why I’m sticking to my reasoning that globalization (and remarkably the Internet) is indeed a good thing… just as long as we learn how to use it to our advantage, right?

  • Simple and practical solutions that help make a better world.

When it comes to helping make a better world, I feel that sometimes we tend to lose sight of the difference between problems and solutions. For instance… in my opinion, there’s not that much we can do about the earth’s overpopulation – not on the short term, anyway. However something that we can indeed think about doing is developing strategies to handle problems that stem from such overcrowding. I was browsing this website on solid waste management and I must say I’m impressed. This is just the kind of thing that may yet help averting the end of the world – or at least the human-driven exhaustion of our natural resources as well as helping to heal the scars we’ve been leaving on this planet for such a long time.
